"Many of you may know, I have officially endorsed Travis Allen for Governor of California.
Today Travis gave a strong talk about the state of California government and what needs changed.

One area he didn’t mention in his talk and I do want to talk to him more about is CARB. CARB is the under the Radar non tax payer tax - an increase passed before the #GasTax which has raised Gas prices for oil companies, passing those same costs to the consumer (some sources say about $0.12 per gallon).


Add on the gas tax and California is effectually price gouging and costing consumers millions with little to no guarantee of results in reducing emissions and improving and repairing our crumbling infrastructure.

As it stands now, we have over 130B in current Infrastructure maintenance and repairs needed, the gas tax only addresses about 53B over the next TEN YEARS. The numbers don’t add. Gas tax is no solution and CARB tax is unnecessary gouge on consumers. All of this tax and spend is doomed to cause costs to skyrocket.

We need to change this.

In US Senate I would like to address price gouging of States, address over-regulation, address legislation like CARB.

One way I can help accomplish lower costs overall for Californians is by approaching the issue of MARITIME TRADE . For those who are not aware, oil transportation is 1/3 of global Maritime Trade.

We need to ensure nationally we are on track to becoming energy self sufficient and we are maximizing our ability to reduce costs on oil where we can—passing CARB was a lose lose for you and me.

My hope is with strong leaders like Travis, myself and other Republicans/Conservatives we can help in restoring prosperity to our great State of California, and to the nation.
