Democrats and Republicans in Congress Hold Border Wall Hostage as President Trump Emerges Strong Against Statusqo Debt Ceiling Fight

@ghetty

On today's docket you will hear a great deal about the debt ceiling and government shut down, don't be fooled. It is a bait and switch. It wasn't two years ago Democrats were screaming about how unfair it was that Republicans would hurt America by letting government shut down and that our world as we knew it was going to end. This is no exaggeration, just look at news archives where the Democrats then switch, threatening government shut down if they can't kill babies by funding Planned Parenthood, and then there is the case of ObamaCare when they threatened all sorts of strings to legislation holding our nation in the balance for the almighty tax payer dollar. It happens over and over again.

If Democrats don't get their money they throw a fit.

This is why we voted for Trump. The line in the sand is different now. Yet even Media is in the pocket of the Democrats pushing. We need to push back, and hard. Just at Trump has we need to push, push, push.

How many articles have been penned about President Trump struggling in his first 100 days to get anything done? Article after article points out Trumps fight to get ObamaCare fixed, Immigration Law enforced, or the next hum-haw, Debbie Downer, left-right punch.

In today's headlines both conservative and liberal outlets point out the "looming" debt ceiling and "potential" "government shut down." What very few of these types of "Fake News," top tier media outlets point out is that they are part of the problem. Rather than point out and investigate how we got here in the first place and how government officials and citizens can go about finding common ground, these "journalists" stir the pot.

Congress has had seven, almost seven and a half years to get a grasp on our monatary situation. Even under democrat rule of Barack Obama, Congress had the power without the Senate to force the issue of spending and legislation issues because Republicans already had the House of Representatives "purse strings" just one year into Obama's first term.

The clear point I want to make right now is this: The debt ceiling and "potential" government "shutdown" is not Trump's struggle. Trump isn't the problem, Congress is.  Congress under Obama approved all of Obama's spending and handed Obama every piece of legislation policy by letting go of the "purse strings." Congress single highhandedly allowed Obama to continue to spend and spend.

The Trump Administration has come out of the gate tough on all points of his campaign platform promises. The only thing holding him back from following through with the will of We The People is Congress.

As if congress didn't argue enough  Schumer spokesman, Matt House said off one cuff, “The U.S. government is supposed to take care of its citizens and, according to the President, Mexico is supposed to pay for the wall,” and then off the other cuff he points out that if Mexico doesn't pay for the wall then there will be no wall and no deal. He states, “If the administration would drop their 11th hour demand for a wall that Democrats, and a good number of Republicans oppose, Congressional leaders could quickly reach a deal.” Now, it seems that Schumer and his spokesman forget it isn't congress will or want that pays for the wall or demands it. The constituents spoke as to what they wanted done when they elected Donald J. Trump as President.

This doesn't stop Democrats like Rep. John Yarmuth of Kentucky, who sits as a ranking member in the House Budget Committee from spouting off his mouth and threatening to shut down the government if the White House includes funding for the wall in the budget.

It is also apparent that Democrats and Republicans alike seem all too eager to fund health care for illegals through ObamaCare, but not enforce our borders by building a more comprehensive wall. It is irresponsible spending of Tax Payer Dollars.

My recommendation is to make a list and check it twice. All of the House of Representatives that refuse to enforce our laws which could save us all a great deal of money in the long run-- every single one needs to be replaced.

Until then we need to call daily to our Representatives and write letters demanding the wall be built and that Congress do their jobs and stop playing politics with our time and money.

The United States House of Representatives is up for reelection every two years.  The next election campaigns are running right now. I suggest we all get active looking at our list of persons up this next round and push hard to replace them. If we as citizens continue to allow this sort of behavior without sending yet another clear message to Washington D.C., we aren't doing our jobs as responsible citizens.
